When someone recommends a book to me, I always read the abstract on Getabstract, and if the book seems knowledgeable and helpful, I buy and read the book. This way I can save myself buying a recommended book that wasn't that good.

This is a great app but the collection of books for personal growth is very less. Some of them are not available but are available on other summary apps. I hope this improves as I didn’t see any improvement since last few years.

I love having access to this resource thanks to my employer. The iPhone and iPad apps make it easy to queue up and consume content, mainly thanks to audio versions, which allow me to do so on the go in a way I rarely have time for from my work computer. When I hear of a book of interest, I often look it up on getAbstract before reading the full thing and am continuously surprised at the wealth of interesting, relevant enlightening content.

Loved the UI contrast. As accessibility is finally in mind. With bolder icons and vibrant text. Thanks for supporting the students starter accounts. This is very much appreciate it by many of the students around the world. Good luck in your next chapter and great year ahead.

I don’t have time to sit and read so I opt for audiobooks while doing chores. I want to love it but the automated voiceover for audiobooks is just torture, want to delete this app.

This app has grown on me. I really like it now. But, I believe this is aimed more at businesses rather than your average joe. To really get my use of this app, I would need the pro subscription which runs $300/year! That is just too darn expensive for me. Wish it was more reasonable…

Open it frequently, get a wisdom nugget! Repeat. Love the content. I looked at many summaries for the books I have already read, and they are really well crafted!

When I type a term to search it seems to search while I am typing which results I’m ridiculously slow results. Especially if I have a typo, basically end up waiting around for minutes for it to come back. I don’t understand how this can be the case. Please fix…

In just a few minutes I can glean some of today’s most relevant and interesting business articles in a snap. The cost vs buying “all” the books is really a money saver. Now I only purchase those books that I can preview and make sense based on the abstract.

Such a variety to choose from, not having time to read is no excuse anymore!

This is an amazing app to get there books quickly

It’s a great and informative app but it seems there is a limit to the amount of books it stores in my library...books I’ve chosen to read later or have finished reading. Is there a way around that?? I also believe an option to highlight findings will enhance the experience. Also a feature that allows me to leave comments or voice notes for my self will help to reference back

The app is useless as it crashes every time (iPhone and iPad) once I try to login with my corporate account. Website works fine but the app needs fixing.

Must have book summary app. Not exactly cheap but definitely worth it.

Need to use work laptop to read and listen to book summaries.

Extremely well-written summaries read by clear, professional voice actors. The content is first-rate. However, the interface often freezes, restarts, and disconnects. Hope that future versions will fix these bugs.

} get abstract is a great tool all by itself, but we’re brining it to our organization to help emphasize continual learning and development. The customized portal they offer allows a familiar space to link learning to specific competencies valued at our agency. The site looks professional, the customer service was excellent, and we’re excited to see how our roll-out progresses. Did I mention the access to stats and additional resources for targeted team and group learning? I could go on ... but I recommend you check it out for yourself!

Love the site but the app always glitches on my iPad. Searches return nothing, all links don’t load anything, I can’t follow any channels... sometimes the app works but not as of lately.
